There’s nothing like good coffee (or wine I don’t discriminate) and great girl talk. Recently I found myself spending some time at Buckhead’s newest coffee shop, Corso Coffee, and in a two hour long conversation with a good friend and creative cohort of mine. We chatted about work, husbands, family, travel, work, and even more work. I stress the work part because as a creative entrepreneur I think there are few things as important as having someone, or even better yet a core group of someones, who understand you and what you’re working towards on a daily basis. In fact last time I was in NYC my boss lady friend Roxy told me they have an entire group of women entrepreneurs who gather once a month to drink wine, chat and simply support each other, (which by the way Roxy I’m stealing your idea and forming my own creative girl gang). The life of an entrepreneur is not an easy one and having people who understand it all is an absolute must. And I’d even be so bold to say that it will play a very big part in if you succeed or fail.
