There’s nothing like good coffee (or wine I don’t discriminate) and great girl talk.  Recently I found myself spending some time at Buckhead’s newest coffee shop, Corso Coffee, and in a two hour long conversation with a good friend and creative cohort of mine.  We chatted about work, husbands, family, travel, work, and even more work.  I stress the work part because as a creative entrepreneur I think there are few things as important as having someone, or even better yet a core group of someones, who understand you and what you’re working towards on a daily basis.  In fact last time I was in NYC my boss lady friend Roxy told me they have an entire group of women entrepreneurs who gather once a month to drink wine, chat and simply support each other, (which by the way Roxy I’m stealing your idea and forming my own creative girl gang).  The life of an entrepreneur is not an easy one and having people who understand it all is an absolute must.  And I’d even be so bold to say that it will play a very big part in if you succeed or fail.  So tell me do you have a go-to person or persons you can always confide in?  Truly, MKR

Easy accesories The best investment bag Easy style with accessories Add personality to your outfit Easy accessories Sherpa vest and statement necklace
Somedays it’s all about easy accessories. Pieces that add automatic interest to your outfit and showcase your personal style. Accessories are a chance to be a little more daring after all, even if you usually play it safe wardrobe speaking. This everyday uniform of mine includes all of the standards…the jeans I can’t stop wearing, my favorite hat, a signature button down (which is on MAJOR sale), and a bold statement necklace. And my Celine bag, though expensive, should be a frontrunner if you’re in the market for an investment bag. I’ve had it for five years and it’s still kicking. Ray-Bans I’ve found are always guaranteed to fit under a hat (which you may laugh but that’s very important). Lastly, how could I not mention my Res Ispa shoes?! Handmade from 100-year old rugs, each pair is completely custom, and are one of the most comfortable pair of shoes I’ve ever worn. Plus they’re local, and I just adore the gentleman of Res Ispa, Josh and Odini.  Truly, MKR

This Monday needs a little more cocktail and a little less Monday, are we right?  Here’s another fantastic cocktail recipe from our friends and creative partners Jenn Gietzen and Kathryn McCrary with #ProjectSip.  This rhubarb old fashioned cocktail has the power to take the bite out of a mean Monday and has us counting down until next happy hour.  With a little bourbon, blood orange and rhubarb you have yourself a winning drink. Cheers, Kat
