We all know I love wine.  Like love (I’m actually in Sonoma right now making wine with La Crema).  And when the cooler temps begin to arrive I, like most, switch from a crisp white to a warm red.  And other than drinking a bold Cab by a big fire another way I love enjoying reds is with my classic mulled wine recipe.  Red wine combines with aromatics of cinnamon, star anis, and orange to create the most perfect warm and cozy drink of the season.  Cheers!  truly, MKR

Olive Oil container, plates, and dipping dishes available HERE.

In celebration of National Pi Day (3.14) I’ve teamed up with Uncommon Goods to create my favorite pie.  A pizza pie!  And not just any pizza pie, but a Margherita Naan Pizza on the grill.

You see Uncommon Goods has this amazing garden in a bag which just happens to grow everything you need for homemade pizza sauce (basil, tomatoes, oregano).  And because I’m not really someone who is known for their patience I decided to perfect my recipe before my garden began to grow.  Best decision ever.  Let’s just say I’ll be counting down the days till I can begin picking these ingredients fresh from my garden and grilling this pizza all summer long.   Happy 3.14!  truly, MKR

Last year I was spending some time browsing Etsy and I stumbled upon the most amazing jewelry shop, Noble House Designs.  I swear I had no sooner found it till I was seeing it everywhere.  From their collaboration with BaubleBar to a full blown gorgeous website and blog.  NHD was quickly becoming a must shop for those one of a kind statement pieces.  And if you know me there is nothing I like more than a big, bold wow factor statement piece of jewelry.

Designer, Sara Lowery Ng, draws inspiration in the splendor things: traveling to exotic destinations and exploring new cultures; anything of tribal design; animals – especially rescue dogs & cats; vintage 1970s/West Palm Beach era; searching for amazing finds at estate sales; great books and fashion magazines. Her designs consist of color, tribal and preppy pairings with a vintage feel.  Everything is handmade by Sara herself in her home studio in Houston, Texas.  And I’m beyond excited to share that Sara’s amazing taste will soon be translating to home!  You can find some one of a kind art pieces on the website now, but stay tuned for a lot more coming soon to NHD Home

So Loves, to kick off your week we’re partnering with NHD to give away a $75 NHD gift card to one lucky winner.  Good luck choosing what you’ll spend your cash on though, above are just some of my favorites (truly I want everything Sara designs).  The giveaway is open to US and Canadian residents and will run through Saturday night with a winner announced Monday morning.  We’ll be running this all through Rafflecopter (below) which allows you to earn points for each item completed…the more points you earn the more likely you are to be the winner (and remember you probably already have entry points if you’re a regular reader of the blog).

Happy Monday, and good luck! xo

P.S. Because I know if you’re anything like me you won’t be able to wait to see if you win so use code MARTHA to get 30% off at NHD now through April 14th.  Yay for discounts…now you can buy twice as much!

P.S.S. GO BLUE!!
