Behind The Biz With Meg Biram

About a month ago my gal pal Meg asked me if I’d participate in her Behind The Biz series.  Obviously the answer was yes as I adore Meg, her blog, her biz, and her desire to support entrepreneurs.  So I urge you all to check out the interview if you want to hear me speak very candidly about  the pitfalls, the joys, and all that jazz that goes with starting and growing my own biz.  And since I’ve been getting a ton of questions about my office space I thought I’d share some additional pics here on my blog.  And speaking of my office…this is just the first of a few posts to come about the space itself.  Next week I’ll be talking the DIY logistics of creating my inspiration board with my left over Thibaut wallpaper and In September I’ll be sharing my desktop and all the details with Delighted Magazine.  Images per usual via Rustic White and a shout out to the uber talented Meredith Heron who introduced me to my Thibaut Tanzania wallpaper.  TGIF Loves!  truly, MKR

P.S. I can’t help but mention our new campaign with Deer Park called Feel Good Moments.  I hope you’ll visit THIS link and join us next Wednesday.

P.S.S. Happy Labor Day Weekend.  Take 15% off EVERYTHING in the shop through Monday with code LABORDAY.

  • What a gorgeous office! We are moving next month and I’m thinking about changing my office up from what it is right now. You’ve given me so great ideas – thanks!

  • LOVED this feature. Your insights on your business were fantastic. Congrats. Love your space and I knew I should’ve just hired you to decorate my house!

I like to entertain at Christmas!!

  • First hi doll!. Second before I tell you I have to say I am “jonesing” over her wall treatment! Just-love-it! The Hermes orange is such a classy and iconic touch. My favorite time to entertain is the spring. With all the pretty blooms that can be used to create pretty tablescapes, and being able to use the outdoor as part of your entertaining space…makes it my favorite.

  • My favorite time of year to entertain is probably Spring, because the weather is finally warming up and the ideas for a themed dinner party are endless. Whereas the entertaining in Fall feels a little forced when it comes to decor (autumn colors, spices, pumpkins, etc). Don’t get me wrong, I love everything Autumn, but I like the zero-expectations of a spring party.

  • Ha! Thanks love…it’s all an illusion…the organization that is. xo

  • Thank you so much! xo

  • Ha, don’t start one just for a good office. Too much work. xo

  • Thank you darling, that means the world to me! big hugs! xo

  • They are super comfortable, I mean not couch comfortable but I enjoy them. And stay tuned because we’ll be giving away a great gift card to a place where you can pick those chairs up! xo

  • Ha! Thanks darling. I can’t wait to see your place! xo

  • Wonderful, I love hearing that! xo

  • what a fabulous workspace, so so perfect! LOOOOVE!
