FINAL-TheWeekinReview3

// MKR is taking a little staycation and she’s planning on hunkering down and reading her summer reading list (the pile that is stacked up on the nightstand). Here’s what she’ll be reading: Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, The Singles Game and The Longevity Book by Cameron Diaz.  I’m sensing a reason to reignite the WOM Book Club, yes??

// We all agree, this is a dream collab right here.  Gray Malin S’well bottles!  Snag one HERE before they sell out.

// I’ve felt stretched a little too thin when it comes to mental balance and spiritual well-being lately.  Thanks to a rec by Geri Hersch, I ordered this book for a little guidance.  I’m also trying out Headspace for a little intro into meditation. Does anyone else use the app

// Sooo it’s time to call your friends and pack your bags. You’re going to die when you see these 12 insane airbrb rentals around the world (totally doable if you split the cost!).

// It’s safe to say that summer nights taste like peaches + burrata + balsamic homemade pizza

// But if you’re using freshly shaved parmesan on that pizza, you should check out this simple trick to clean your cheese grater (hint: you need this).

// Apparently, where you sit (and who you sit by) in the office matters. And here’s how to boost your productivity.

// MKR learned the importance of staking/marking what she’s planting in the garden.  She realized this week that what she thought was growing in the backyard was green peppers turned out to be tomatillos! I told her she should order some of these or these STAT. I guess she’ll be making a lot of salsa!

// Dreaming of cracking into the interior design industry?  This inspiring feature shares how 21 artists, buyers, designers and editors made it big.

// MKR reignited her passion for politics and getting involved.  Her recent political kick got us all to realize that everyone should take the 10 seconds it takes to register and vote in this upcoming election.  Not just to vote for the next president, but also to become informed on the state of affairs.  By voting for all of your elected officials from judges, senators, governors, mayors, etc., you’ll help lead change where it happens. (And if you DON’T vote, then you DON’T get to complain about the state of affairs of anything!) Here’s the link to register today.

// We’ve all seen firsthand how happiness + what we eat go hand in hand.  But the team found it so interesting when a Well+Good editor “Marie Kondo’d” her diet and mindfully ate and savored every meal, and recording her joy for two weeks.  It reminded us of the importance of setting the table for weeknight meals

// Sarah Sherman Samuel reminds us how chic (and cool) running around in an easy summer dress can be.

// We suffer from it bad sometimes.  Apparently, here’s how to beat the #SundayScaries once and for all.

// Rifle Paper Co. debuts its new fabric collection…and it’s as gorgeous as we all knew it would be.

// The team is stocking up on lululemon leggings this week, due to the scary news of a possible price increase soon.  Perhaps it’s time to shift our loyalties to this brand instead??
