I recently fell in love with an Elizabeth and James floral dress I saw on Emily Schuman from Cupcakes and Cashmere…the femininity of it, the “mullet” styling (shorter in the front longer in the back), and the fact that we just moved down south and this dress embodies walking barefoot through some field with sweet tea. What I didn’t fall in love with was the price tag of $665. With my recent shopping trip to NYC which resulted in a highly anticipated Celine bag and too many shoes to count I’m not in the market for a $665 floral dress. I am however always in the market for an $89.53 floral dress from Asos. Though not exactly like the Elizabeth and James one I first coveted, the savings version will definitely do the trick (especially by adding my J.Crew belt already hanging in my closet) and have me running barefoot drinking sweet tea in no time. xoxo
