Blog Fete 2012 + Florida Shenanigans

Two weekends ago I joined some fabulous ladies down in Orlando for Blog Fete’s first annual Bloggers Conference.  It was a weekend full of connecting and talking all things blogging and the business of.

Created and hosted by Melissa (Truly Chic Inspirations), Carmen (The Flair Exchange) and Michele (Intrigue Design Studio) with speakers Lauren Grove (Every Last Details), Bonnie Upright (Upright Public Relations) Michele Pentecost (Intrigue Design Studio) Alex & Joey (The Yum Yum Truck), Carrie Sellman (Halfed Baked – The Cake Blog), and Kori Clark (Paper & Pigtails) Blog Fete was fun, insightful and very motivating!

And because it would be a waste to head down to Florida without having a little R & R the Mr. came along to golf, float down the lazy river and check out The Wizarding World of Harry Potter (I so bought a wand).

Below are some pics of our adventure (thanks Dina & Melissa because I stole some of yours) and a little commentary to go along.  xoxo

Entering HP World “Let The Adventure Begin.”  Such true words for the day, the weekend, and this crazy Waiting On Martha ride I’m on!

I obviously can’t go to Orlando without hitting up the designer outlets & I scored this little gem from Fendi and…

The MOST cozy, comfortable cashmere socks from Burberry.  I will be wearing these around the house ALL fall & winter!

The next day was all about the R & R and my trusty Blog Fete cup was used to hold adult beverages while lounging.

Storms they are a brewing

And so it begins….

Gryffindor!

Butterbeers were lacking actual beer, but still pretty tasty!

I would have totally been a Quidditch player (yes I’m secretly a nerd as well)

So it poured on and off the whole long weekend, but I saw more rainbows in those couple days than I have in my entire life, which if you’re like me who believes in signs, then I’d say my adventure is truly just beginning!
