10 Reasons Why Stripes Are Always a Good Idea

Recently we got to thinking; there is no time when stripes are a bad idea. We’ve honestly never met a stripe we don’t love—from fat stripes to pin stripes to colored stripes to classic stripes—and we never discriminate when pairing them with florals and prints for a little pattern play. It’s easy to see why so many of us take cues from the French and incorporate this playful pattern in the wardrobe and home alike. We don’t really know how the myth started about them being unflattering, but if you’re concerned, we’d suggest opting for thinner styles!

  • I wholeheartedly agree, they’re always chic and always a good idea. I was just in Paris and stocked up on a few classic Saint James striped tops. Love your striped picks, especially the chair!
