As you may have heard, we’re gearing up to embark on a pretty epic four-day road trip around the great state of South Carolina in collaboration with our friends at Garden & Gun Magazine and Travel South USA. We’re building the ultimate playlist, grabbing the sunnies, mapping our glorious route, calling dibs on Shotgun and starting to pack our bags…and we simply could not be more excited. We’ll of course be documenting the entire thing, so make sure to follow along for the adventure (#takingcarolina). Kat, you know I just road-tripped from DC to Orlando in one run. Playlists: I took my iPod off shuffle and listened to about 6 or 7 albums from start to finish, including 4 live concerts. I ended up with my Blues and Zydeco playlists, arriving in Orlando @ 4:45AM. Also, I use my Garmin GPS and its search engine for certain gas stations, certain eateries and rest stops along my route.
