September is by far my favorite month of the year.  It ushers in the best season, fall.  New York fashion week happens.  Football rivalries heat up.  Pumpkin spice lattes make their long awaited debut.  And the Mr. and I celebrate wedded bliss.  So with all of this fabulousness the only question left was who could live up to all that hype and be our September guest curator?  Well isn’t it obvious?  Mrs. Lilien of course.  Known for her way with words and amazing style Mrs. Lilien’s blog is one of our daily ready and we’re constantly stirring up and drinking down whatever she creates…cocktails included.

Shop all of her fabby picks through the month of September HERE, and to help cheers to the Mrs. in style  we’re offering 15% off your ENTIRE purchase through the 14th with code MRS15. Happy fall, and happy shopping!  trulyMKR

This Week I…

…hosted an amazing, amazing, words cannot express amazing giveaway for a Zac Zac Posen bag.  There’s still time to enter so don’t dilly dally (below).

…adored this weekend “to do” list from Lovelish.  A. it’s a to-do list you might actually be able to get accomplished.  And B. it’s pure simplicity seems sanity saving and just what I need at the moment.

…lusted over this dress.

…saw this list of best hotel bath tubs in the world which was right up my alley.  I’m a bather.  I just love a good soak.

…fell in love with J.Crew baby.  I mean seriously?!  Thank goodness all of my friends just had babies so I can get THESE, THIS and THIS.

…I found this hilarious even though I do use hashtags quite frequently.  JT and Fallon can really do no wrong.

…read the Delighted Magazine fall issue cover to cover.  I may be biased, but pages 21-29 are pretty major.

…learned about Golden Tote.  Genius!

…am heading home to Chicago.  I didn’t realize I was even excited to go back until I started searching for pictures to use in today’s blog post.  Don’t get me wrong I absolutely adore and love Atlanta, but Chicago has my heart (for now).  It’s funny how you look back on your life and it’s broken up into sections, or rather periods of time, marked by people you met, ways you grew, songs you sang, and places you lived.  Midland was where I was raised, Peoria where I went to school, and Chicago, well Chicago was where I grew up.  Where I became who I am now.  Chicago was where life really began to take shape.  And I cannot wait to get back, and walk the streets, breathe the air, and just relish in that time of my life.  Chicago, I’m coming home…get ready.  truly, MKR
