There’s just something about curated inspiration boards (or mood boards if you will) that gets me. Besides the obvious fact that a working bulletin board helps with organization in the workspace—with calendar reminders, business cards and phone numbers to call—a board also double as some of the best office art. It’s personalized to only you, and it’s TOTALLY affordable!
With an attention to detail, an appreciation for aesthetics and of course fun accents (like these gorgeous gold clips) to tie it all together, an inspiration board can be truly show-stopping. Our office inspiration boards (pictured above and also seen in the full feature here) kick it up a notch with DIY fabric-covered boards, which have proven to be a beautiful focal point in the space. And as you’ll see in these additional photos in the slideshow above, great inspiration boards give any workspace a more energized feel, with creativity bursting with each pin-worthy item. There’s even beauty in the messy, half-created inspiration boards just as much as the perfectly edited and designed ones! Cheers, Kat
My wife is really good with pin boards. She had a really big inspiration board while we were dating and it just kept growing and growing. Now we have it in our home and it is pretty nice. We fill it mostly with things that need to be saved.
