What do you get when you put 3 of my very favorite things together (a Paltrow, a Von Furstenberg and lucite)? Alexandra Von Furstenberg’s limited edition lucite tray for Goop. I know people love to hate on GP, but she is truly my everything. I could write a post (or rather a love letter) all about GP, in fact that’s not a bad idea. Anyway, so when I was catching up on my Goop newsletter and saw this stunning neon pink and lucite tray created by non other than Alexandra Von Fursternberg herself…well let’s just say I immediately started plotting where exactly in my home it would look best.
Alexandra is, or shall I say was, the daughter-in-law of the great Diane, and I’ve talked about her ridiculously amazing lucite coffee table (which I’m still lusting after) before. Like Diane she doesn’t shy away from bold prints and colors, case in point her signature, shocking neon pink. I’m not gonna lie, her pieces are investments (read all about the WHY here), but they are just such perfection. I’ve got my eye on this piece for the Mr.’s office.
So are you still loving lucite? Truly, MKR (I’m switching it up from the typical xo sign off…do we like this one better?)
I love Gwyneth too. Yes, she may be practically perfect in every way, but I think she’d be a great friend and really supportive. Okay, that’s my celebrity day-dreaming for the day. 🙂
I mean I LOVE her! And I agree, I know she’s amaze in person! truly, MKR
GP is my all time fave. She makes me think I need that tray in my life. If she says it, I do it. Love her!
I agree, both Gwens (Paltrow and Stefani) are my absolute faves!
Mandy, Alexandra Von Furstenberg is not DVF’s daughter. She is the daughter of Robert and Chantal Miller. Alexandra was formerly married to DVF’s son, Alexander, and kept the Furstenberg surname after they divorced. – Whitney
Thank you SO much for clearing that up Whitney. I will make the corrections now!
