There are no words for how happy Maddie the Coonhound makes me. No words. Have you heard of her yet? If you haven’t, well let me tell you she will steal your heart. Maddie belongs to an amazing photographer name Theron who rescued her from an Atlanta shelter mid way through the creation of his documentary This Wild Idea. Once Theron realized her insane talent of balance and a mug that was meant for the camera he decided to begin photographing her. And through that the book Maddie On Things was born and a new documentary Why We Rescue has taken shape. You all know if you follow me on IG that I’m obsessed with my dog Addison. She is just pure joy. So you know Maddie On Things is going to be making its way on to my bookshelf soon. All Maddie and Theron need now is one of our Found Animal Best Friends Collars. Just saying.
Anyway, a little something to make you smile on this Tuesday morning. Make sure to follow Maddie on Instagram and big thanks to Tiffany who introduced me to her. truly, MKR.
I actually co-edit an online magazine and we interviewed Theron a few months ago–since you’re a fan, I just thought I’d mention it! You can find it here (http://paprikasouthern.com/archive/ –scroll down for the June issue) if you’re interested 🙂

Isn’t Maddie just the most precious thing??!! Thanks for the shout-out and I’m glad you enjoyed it just as much as I did!
Oh my goodness! I’m in LOVE with Maddie! Growing up, we raised Coonhounds as well. Such a sweet breed. Those ears and eye are just wonderful! Such a great share 🙂
I know what you mean about your dog being pure joy; mine is too! I’ll have to check out Maddie on Things. Love Soiree! Hope to win…
One of my all time favorite sites. Maddie’s the best little pick me up there is.

Annddd fall. definitely. It’s cool enough to entertain outside.
Thank you, I will check it out!
I think I have to say fall. It’s my favorite season in general, but last year I made a list of date ideas and nearly accomplished them all. Can’t wait to do it again!
perfectly priya
I love to entertain in the fall (football season anyone?) because living in the south, you really can’t enjoy being outdoors comfortably until at least late-September.
I obsessed with Maddie and these photographs!! They made me smile – thanks for sharing!
