I love any design that lights up a space with its big, bold personality. And that’s exactly how I’d describe country music star Darius Rucker’s bright Charleston home. It has the perfect eclectic vibe; it’s filled with collections of interesting treasures and stunning statements, such as a hanging rattan chair and a commissioned abstract piece by one of my favorite artists, Sally King Benedict.
Charleston-based interior designer Angie Hranowsky completely nails the design by combining color, texture, form and function for Darius and his family. “The overall concept for the house became a white backdrop that allowed us to bring in color and texture with beautiful furniture and artwork,” Angie explains in the full feature on My Domaine.
I was so inspired by the space, that I rounded up my picks to get the look of this gorgeous, yet livable abode. I would be lying if I said I didn’t sense a re-design soon, perhaps of the entryway? Truly, MKR
What a fun bright space! That yellow abstract art is GORGEOUS!
Isn’t it amazing? Makes me totally rethink yellow for interiors! xo
