In leaving corporate America behind one unexpected perk was I also got to leave behind the 9-5 business casual workwear and really create my own daily uniform. For me that uniform has surprisingly become menswear. From boyfriend jeans, to oxfords, button downs, and oversized top coats there’s nothing I love or feel more comfortable in than menswear. Don’t get me wrong, I still adore, and own, plenty of great dresses and skirts, but if you were to catch me out and about on a daily basis in Atlanta then you’d more than likely find me in this exact tomboy-esqe outfit. I guess you could say boyfriend jeans are to me what yoga pants are to most…the most comfortable, second skin ever. So what is your every day uniform? Truly, MKR

Love this look!
Love this look and agree that is a fun casual style look. I go for my favorite worn jeans as well, with a pair of my well broken in borne short boots and casual layered button downs with a jacket. My jewelry is my accessory that always changes. I’m always on the hunt when I am out for vintage modern pieces for my shop, so I need to be able to move something in a flash if I find it. I love fashion though, so this look lets me still have my own sense of fashion without being overdressed for moving that elusive credenza in a snap!
