If you have to have something blue for your big day why shouldn’t it be the dress?  While subtle, blue bridal gowns can achieve a completely classic yet modern look for the bride. Look four from Occasions Magazine’s Colors of Summer shoot showcased a stunning lace and light blue Lee-Ann Belter gown completed with a show-stopping big white bow.  The layers of lace were accented by a vintage pearl blusher, two pearl necklaces hooked together to drape down Molly’s back, and a pair of sassy silver shoes.  truly, MKR

A few weeks ago while at the Atlanta Food & Wine Fest I posted a standard Instagram pic that ended up begging the question, where did you get that dress?  To people’s surprise my answer was Old Navy.  I don’t really know why that’s a surprise as I have numerous Old Navy pieces hanging in my closet that have become staples (like my favorite white jeans), but regardless it seemed to be a surprise.  Which in turn made me grab Haley Sheffield and hit one of my favorite Atlanta spots, Parish Foods & Goods, to capture a few snaps of just how lovely this shift dress really is.  So moral of the story, if you haven’t checked out Old Navy in a while I suggest you get to shopping.  truly, MKR

Look three from Occasion Magazine’s Colors of Summer was probably the most classically “bridal” with a gorgeous embellished champagne gown from Liancarlo.  The soft tones and layer upon layer of delicate champagne tulle only needed easy makeup and messy hair from Jennifer C. Nieman, barley there accessories, and bold purple florals from  Lindsay Coletta Designs to create a dream like, or almost floating feeling captured perfectly by Rustic White.   truly, MKR
