Recently I attended the launch event celebrating Tory Burch’s new watch line (which is fantastic BTW), and I found myself drawn to the most un-like me bedazzled piece of clothing ever.  It’s not that it wasn’t beautiful, it was, it was just so shiny and I don’t typically do shiny.  But after a glass or two of champagne, and the fact that the Tory Burch friends and family sale was happening (which always justifies unlikely purchases), I thought why not try it on?  And once I tried it on, I couldn’t seem to take it off.  I’ve had it dressed up with THIS skirt, and dressed down more times than I can count with the other piece of clothing on serious rotation, these black jeans.  In all it’s jeweled glory the Wendy Pullover is simply, shockingly versatile.  Ring a ding bling.  Truly, MKR

Dream, Girl: The Documentary

Everyday 550 women are starting a new business.  550!  Women are the fastest growing sector of the economy, we’re literally creating a movement that has been years (decades, centuries actually) in the making.  And I’m so proud to say that I’m part of it.  I’m an entrepreneur, a female entrepreneur.  And while I haven’t liked to get too hung up on the female-male-#girlboss-vs.-#boss debates I will say the fact that only 21% of girls feel they have the confidence to become an actual boss is unacceptable.

Enter Dream Girl, a documentary currently in production that hopes to shine the light on women leaders and inspire confidence in women of all ages to chase their dreams and follow their own path.  I was lucky enough to be one of the 21% having the support to always dream big from basically birth (thanks mom and dad), but I know now that’s a luxury that many aren’t privy to.  So my Loves, let’s show little (and big) girls what it means to be a leader.  Let’s show them what it means to DREAM BIG.  Truly, MKR

P.S. Big hugs to #ladyboss Jess at Golden Girl for introducing me to this amazing story!
