Last week while sharing news about an event I’m hosting with Elizabeth McKay and Jack Rogers I couldn’t stop gushing about the Rye dress.  There’s just something about a dress that allows for twirling.  With pops of navy and divine detailing the Rye dress is a fun, but truly timeless piece you’ll wear for years to come.  And the Jules coat, I mean that pattern!  I love it here with the Rye, but it would look equally great with black pixie pants plus the darker purples make it a completely accessible pattern for winter.  I’m just so in love with these pieces I can’t wait to shop them and Elizabeth’s entire new collection on Friday so I hope you’ll come and twirl with me.  Truly, MKR

When Jack Rogers reached out last week to ask if I’d host an Elizabeth McKay trunk show at their Atlanta store I pulled out my sandals and jumped at the opportunity.  And while it’s no secret I (like everybody else) am a huge fan of Jack Rogers, Elizabeth McKay is a new to me brand.  A new to me brand that I am swooning over.  

With fun, bold prints to classic investment pieces Elizabeth McKay is all about bringing a youthful, luxury label that’s defined by the classics but with a twist of modern sensibility.  I can’t get enough of the swirling roses found on the Jules coat and obviously I had to snag the Rye dress (I mean it’s the RYE dress)!  And I’m sure I’ll be picking up another piece or two next week.  Which brings me to the actual event.  Drumroll please…
