When I was in New York this past September I had the pleasure of spending the afternoon at Zac Posen’s atelier.  Gowns were being hand sewn with the outmost attention to detail, Bergdorff Goodman was holding court at a massive table talking spring, bags were hung as far as the eye could see, Olivia Palermo was trying on looks in preparation for an event, and between the rows and rows of organza and silk there I was taking it all in.  It was nothing short of magical.  And while I didn’t walk out of their with a gown of my own that day I did walk out of their swooning over the line of new ZAC Zac Posen bags that were about to hit the stores.
