If you’ve been following along over the past few weeks you’d know that there are big changes happening at Waiting On Martha.  We’re opening another pop up shop, WOM The Brick & Mortar, for the entire summer at Shops Around Lenox and Mandy Kellogg Rye Design is expanding even more into the design and styling industry moving into an ADAC design studio in June.  With this sudden burst of growth now more than ever, we need to add some invaluable players to our team.  So are you ready to join our small circle of crazy (like good crazy, but a tad crazy none the less)?  Check out all the details below and we look forward to hearing from you.  Truly, MKR & Kat

Assistant Sales Manager
Location: Shops Around Lenox, Atlanta, GA
Compensation: TBD
Hours: 20-40, flexible

Responsibilities: We are seeking a hands-on Sales Manager to assist owner MKR in running Waiting On Martha The Brick & Mortar.  This position will include heavy selling, assisting customers, opening and closing WOM, cash wrap, overseeing Shop inventory, e-commerce order fulfillment, and managing part time sales associates. 

Requirements: Applicant must be a motivated self-starter, with a passion for the creative industry and a history in sales and prior management. Excellent selling skills with an eye for detail, and an overall ability to cater to clients/customers is a MUST.

Sales Associate, 2-3 openings available
Location: Shops Around Lenox, Atlanta, GA
Compensation: TBD
Hours: 10-30, flexible

Responsibilities: We are seeking 2-3 sales associates for our summer pop up shop, Waiting On Martha The Brick & Mortar.  This position will include heavy selling, assisting customers, cash wrap, Shop inventory, and e-commerce order fulfillment.

Requirements: Applicant must be a motivated self-starter, with a passion for the creative industry and a history in retail sales. Excellent selling skills with an eye for detail, and an overall ability to cater to clients/customers is a MUST.

Production Intern
Location: ADAC, Atlanta, GA
Compensation: Unpaid, but potential to grow into a paid position. School credit is available if applicable.
Hours: 8-15, flexible

Responsibilities: We are seeking a hands-on production intern to help us with the ins and outs of running Waiting on Martha in Atlanta. This position will include basic administrative and personal assistant tasks, order fulfillment, managing shop inventory, responding to customer requests and some occasional on-site assistance for styled and editorial photoshoots and events.

Requirements: Applicant MUST be in Atlanta, must be a motivated self-starter, with a passion for the creative industry. Excellent organizational skills and an eye for details are a MUST. Customer service skills and an overall ability to cater to clients/customers is also very important.

Social Media Intern
Location: Nashville, TN
Compensation: Unpaid, but potential to grow into a paid position. School credit is available if applicable.
Hours: 5-10, flexible

Responsibilities: We are seeking a social media intern to work closely with the Editor and Social Media Director on strategy and content creation to encourage growth on WOM’s social media channels. You’ll be responsible for weekly content creation, and routine monitoring reports. You will also play a vital role in ROI analysis for brand campaigns and marketing efforts. During this internship, you will truly see how social media and digital strategy has led this startup to land collaborations with national brands.

Requirements: Applicant must be a motivated self-starter in Nashville, with a passion for the creative industry. Must be extremely “plugged in” to the online world through websites, blogs and social media. Knowledge of online monitoring tools and experience in marketing and blogger outreach is a major plus.

While both intern positions are unpaid, there is a possibility of becoming an hourly, paid-position as Waiting On Martha continues to grow. You’ll be working directly with the Founder and Creative Director, Mandy Kellogg Rye and Kat Neunaber Editor and Social Media Director, and have invaluable start up experience to add to your resume in the e-commerce, retail and design industries.
