Home Is In The Air

Recently I was asked to share what makes my house a home.  Is it the people I share it with?  My cozy corner where I curl up with a good book?  The weekly fresh flowers on my coffee table?  Cookies baking in the oven each Sunday?  The cozy blanket I wrap myself in each night?  Or the fragrance I’m greeted with when I walk in the door?  The truth is it’s all of those simple pleasures and so much more, that make my house my home.

I may have captured my feelings in pictures while Air Wick ® captured theirs perfectly in video, and now we want to know what home means to you?  Simply post a photo of something that helps make your house a home on Instagram, Twitter, or the Air Wick US Facebook page and tag it with both #HomeIsInTheAir #Sweeps.  You’ll then be entered for a chance to win $500 towards a room makeover, and new Life Scents™ fragrances.  It’s that easy.

Because “…your home isn’t just four walls, it’s the sum of everything you put into it.  It’s what’s there, in the air, when you’ve made your house a home.” So tell me loves, what do your four walls mean to you?  Truly, MKR

Earlier this week while everyone was preparing to hunker down for Juno I got to take a little journey and escape (at least in theory) to warmer days ahead and play with Lacefield Design’s new outdoor pillow collection.

Making it’s big debut during January and February buying season, Lacefield’s “weather friendly” pillows are bright, bold, and full of solid and print designs you can easily mix and match.  Constructed with Sunbrella weather resistant solid fabrics the Lacefield design team translated hand painted artwork into digital prints such as my favorite the watercolor leopard and bamboo trellis complete with tassels.  You know how I love a good tassel!  And while I adore every colorway (honestly I love every color) you’ll find a mix of the surf blue and melon orange on my patio this coming spring.

Since this is just a sneak peek you’ll have to wait a tad longer to start planning for warmer weather as the pillows won’t be available online until mid February and in retailers (including yours truly), early March.  But I have to say, while I’ve been a fan of Lacefield’s for years now, they have truly outdone themselves by creating a collection not defined by “indoor” or “outdoor,” instead defined by simply beautiful design.  So, who’s ready for spring?  Truly, MKR
