Take A Break: National Iced Tea Day With Dunkin’ Donuts

Blog-DD2 Blog-DD6 Blog-DD1 Blog-DD4 Sprinkle donuts Blog-DD

From ever since I could remember, I’ve loved Dunkin’ Donuts. I’ve been known to brake often when I see a Dunkin’, and my regular order (coffee: light cream, light sugar) gets me through many a mid-afternoon slump and it got me through long nights in law school.

After moving down South a few years ago, I was delighted to find my beloved Dunkin’ Donuts around the corner whenever I needed my coffee fix. And while the South loves its sweet tea, I’m a no-sugar-in-my-tea kind of gal whenever I needed a refreshing sip (and at only 5 calories I feel good about that). So when I heard it was National Iced Tea Day and Dunkin’ was joining in on the celebration, a quick stop was in order. Even on a busy day, I like to make time for a quiet moment like this in the park – and today you can do the same by snagging an iced tea of any size for only 99 cents (with a sprinkle donut too, perhaps?).

Here’s what you need to know to get your tea on (today through June 30th): simply download the offer through Dunkin’ Donuts’ mobile app under its “DD Perks” tab, which is available for free from the App Store and Google Play Store.  How will you be celebrating today, loves? Truly, MKR

6 Great Farmers Markets to Visit

By no means can we claim to know all of the best farmers markets in the country, but here are six great farmers markets that we say are worth a visit.  From San Francisco to Santa Fe to MKR’s favorite Atlanta spot (and a few in between), these local food systems all do a great job in efforts to develop long term sustainability and further meaningful community impact.  I’m a big fan of checking out the local markets while on a visit from out-of-town as well; it always shows a glimpse into local culture and fare and to me that’s one of the best takeaways from a place while traveling. As we share a handful of markets to add to your list above, we really would love to hear from you, and learn about your local farmers markets!  Any we need to check out asap?  Cheers, Kat
