12 Summer Popsicles to Enjoy All Season Long

Intriguing Flavor Variations Give Adult Appeal to This Childhood Classic
Filed Under > Worth Noting

I didn’t always LOVE popsicles, but boy did I eat them when the summer came around. They were typically a bit boring back in my day (all I can think of are those long popsicle sticks in the freezer by the dozen), but summer popsicles were always a good treat when the heat threatened to melt us all.  These days, however, I’m quite impressed with the million flavors (and seemingly adult variations) of this childhood classic.  It seems that just about any of your favorite flavors can mix into summer popsicles!

I’ve rounded up 12 summer popsicles that’ll have the kid in all of us rejoicing, while calling to our grown-up tastebuds.  Think sweet tea + fresh peaches, matcha green tea + white chocolate, curried canteloupe + toasted coconut, and many more.  Cheers, Kat

9 Travel Instagram Accounts to Follow Today

These Accounts Dish Up a Good Dose of Wanderlust on the Daily
Filed Under > Travel

I’m back in the office after a great holiday weekend, but whew my mind is elsewhere.  I’ve always had a strong sense of wanderlust, so it should come to no surprise to you that I follow a ton of accounts on Instagram that dish up a good dose of worldly inspiration daily.  Now, some of these travel Instagram accounts are smaller than others, some are what I consider “big dogs”, some do this for a living and some simply have a knack for capturing beauty wherever they end up.  But I think you’ll agree that their effect is the same; they leave you with a let’s-pack-our-bags-right-now kind of feeling.

So I invite you to escape your cubicle or desk today for a few minutes by clicking through the slideshow above.  While these are nine of my faves, I’m ALWAYS looking for more travel Instagram accounts to follow…so please tell me who you love too!  Cheers, Kat

6 Artists that Will Transport You to the Beach

Can't See the Shore Soon? These Talented Artists Have You Covered
Filed Under > Everyday

I don’t know about you, but when June rolls around every year I’m itching to get to the beach.  I begin obsessing over all of the beach vacay must-haves, gorgeous faraway ‘grams and travel bucket list posts I can find.  Unfortunately, I won’t be getting down to the beach until late August, so I’ll be daydreaming about the shore in the meantime.

And that’s where these artists come into play. I absolutely adore these six talents for their ability to instantly transport me to the sounds and smells of the beach, all in stunning work I can frame on my gallery wall at home.  Click through the slideshow to find my top beach art, but I’d love to hear about any other artists you love that I can add to the list!  Cheers, Kat

P.S. Maybe the best part? You can snag affordable prints from all of these artists on One Kings Lane! Click through the slideshow to find the specific pieces I love. xo

Teil Duncan

Teil Duncan

It's easy to see that Teil Duncan's figurative pieces are interpretations of a vibrant, busy beach, which I just love. Teil masterfully arranges pixilated compositions that are as intriguing as they are beautiful.

As I type that Gray Malin is one of my all-time favorites, I'm looking at my own Positano Town hanging at home. His work just exudes joy, and his ability to capture the crowds on the shores around the globe is truly incredible.

Judith Gigliotti's fine art photography is another one to note. I especially adore this scene for its over-exposed, white-washed feel...I feel like I can feel the warm, lazy waves!
