Whether you’re stopping by the company Christmas party or planning for a dramatic entry at this year’s NYE celebration, there’s no reason to not be dressed for the nines.  With holiday gifts crossed off the list (hopefully!) it’s time to settle on the perfect holiday party outfit.

From statement feathers to crop tops and fancy pants, the possibilities are endless for a chic holiday get-up.  As you’ll see in the slideshow above, these six outfit ideas prove that there’s really no excuse to play it safe this year…even at your holiday office party!

Thanks to inspiration from some of our favorite trendsetters, we’ve found a few key statement pieces from J.Crew, Tibi, Elizabeth and James, Milly and more that will help us round out 2015 in style, but will also find a place in our wardrobes for years to come.  And of course, if the holiday gifting list gets a bit long, we turn to Rent The Runway to score these high-end designer duds without a blow to the wallet.  Click through the slideshow above to find six chic outfit ideas for your holiday party, along with links to get the look!  Cheers, Kat

The Best Christmas Sugar Cookies for Santa

A Roundup of The Tastiest Holiday Cookie Recipes to Enjoy
Filed Under > Worth Noting

Christmas cookies!  It’s safe to say that the little kid in all of us perks up at the thought of baking those Christmas cookies just in time for the big guy to arrive.  Growing up, we always stuck to a classic family recipe; sugar cookies with no frosting, but a whole lot of sprinkles.  (Well the first cookie sheet usually received a lot more attention and patience than the rest… so we always had a few pretty plain cookies by the end.)  Still to this day, my family enjoys the classic recipe, but with their own spin on it.  My aunt makes them extra thin for a delicate bite, and my mom always lets them be a bit cakier for a soft, almost bread-y bite. Either way, biting into those sugar cookies still marks Christmastime every year for me!

I know we’re usually sans-frosting when making our cookies at home, but I realize thanks to Pinterest that there are so many absolutely stunning and super tasty sugar cookies out there.  So I rounded up a few of the best Christmas sugar cookies for Santa in the slideshow above.  Simply click on the image and don’t be surprised if you’re licking your lips before you’re through!  Cheers, Kat
