Friday Finds…5 Dinner Party Essentials

In preparing for our Goodbye Chicago dinner party this weekend I’ve been shopping a lot for table decor and I’ve found some amazing pieces not just for this weekend, but for all dinner parties to come.  Fingers crossed our CB2 has the candelabras below which I’m dying over…nothing like waiting till the last minute!  Happy Friday loves!  xoxo

The perfect eye catching bowl for your table from Jonathan Adler of course!

This is genius!  From corkcicle a cork that keeps your white wine cold but doesn’t water it down…this is a definite MUST for our home!

I’m in love with these whimsical cake plates from Kate Spade.

How gorgeous are these candelabras from CB2 and for only $24.95!

These adorable set of 5 white vases from Zinc Door will look perfect on your dinner table or all around your home any day of the year.

In preparing to say goodbye to Chicago and make the big move to Atlanta the Mr. and I are hosting a fabulous dinner party this weekend at Quay Chicago.  However, because of our upcoming NYC and Mississippi trips coupled with the daunting task of packing up our home we seem to be in a bit of a frenzy and I’ve waited till the last minute to plan the dinner party decor.  So in my time of need where do I turn first for inspiration…Pinterest of course!  I’m heading over to Quay tonight to do the wine tasting and check out the space, but I’m thinking something very simple, flowers, candles, nothing too grand.  I’ll make sure to take lots of pics this weekend, but in the meantime take a peek at my initial inspirations.  xoxo

Love the simplicity and colors!  Add some amazing dripping ivory candles and you are good to go!

Dying over the ikat fabric and the greens, but the theme won’t mesh…save this thought for next time

Love, love, loving these wood centerpieces!  Only problem our tables are round…wouldn’t work the same

Same thought process as above, but simply using craft paper as the runner…hmmmmm again not sure about working that in with round tables?

Normally I cringe at Babys Breath (it reminds me of my highschool dances) but I’m loving the silver effect of this and using it alone, and Babys Breath is a VERY affordable way to go.

I am definitely a sucker for green, not to mention that they’ve set this table with my FAVORITE Hermes china which is not happening people.  But I do love the burlap tablecloth withe the hydrangeas and natural element of the branches…I could probably pull this one off.

Loving this, simple and romantic.  Though I’d need to find the glass bottles cheap enough…definitely has possibilities.
