Just in time for the big game this weekend, and to wrap up our week of tailgating (HERE & HERE) Danielle and I are saving the best for last…the cocktails.  I guarantee there has not been a tailgate with cocktails as good as these!  The tangerine old fashioned…well lets just say that’s a new staple in my household.  And how major is our pumpkin icebucket.  Just carve a pumpkin, fill with ice, and voila.  Easy breezy.

Make sure to check out Danielle’s blog for additional pictures and an amazing playlist plus don’t forget to share pics this weekend of your tailgate tagging both @waitingonmartha and @danielledrollins for a chance to win a TableVogue Team Tablecloth (details HERE).  TGIF Loves and goooooooo….well wouldn’t you like to know?! truly, MKR.

A Southern Tailgate

If I’ve learned anything from moving to the South it’s that football is life, and the tailgate is an art form.  So when I was at Danielle’s home this summer chatting about her book Soiree and the discussion of tailgates came up we decided to combine our entertaining prowess and throw our very own tailgate and just in time for the big Alabama/Tennessee game on Saturday!

Combining the rich, and very fall appropriate colors, of Alabama and Tennessee with vintage leather accents, plenty of good food and drink I think you’ll find our tailgate turned out not to be your average Saturday at the stadium.  Make sure to visit Danielle’s site for additional pictures as well as everything you need to entertain (it’s a daily read for me).  And we’ll be sharing all of the tailgate food recipes on Wednesday and drink recipes as well as some team playlists on Friday of this week.  And to help make your football season just a tad better Danielle and I are hosting a little Instagram and Twitpic contest this week and will be providing two winners their team of choice  Team TableVogue tablecloth (details below).  So who are you rooting for this weekend?  truly, MKR

The Haunting Season

With Halloween just around the corner we’re in full on planning mode.  It’s true, we’ve already held one celebration with Jezebel Magazine (more pics and details on that coming soon), but I’m talking more about the actual week leading up to the big day.  The week where pumpkins are carved, seeds toasted, treats are made, and the day where trick or treaters ring bells.  I can hardly wait…the holidays are upon us my Loves!  truly, MKR
