Every year the Mr. and I hit the slopes for a week of seclusion, skiing and hot toddies. Well if you read my post last Friday you’d know that this is the first in eights years that a ski vacation wasn’t in the cards, (insert tear here). So when Occasion Magazine reached out about a winter dinner party I thought if I can’t go to the mountains I’ll just bring them to me.
Teaming up again with my two favorite photogs Robert and Tiffany of Rustic White we ascended on to Ecco Atlanta on a sunny Saturday afternoon and transformed it into a cozy mountainside chalet. With rich velvet curtains, a plethra of plaids, fresh evergreens, and rustic elements everywhere all that was left to add was snow.
Happy Monday loves! xoxo
Don’t be afraid to mix plaids and patterns, nothing is worse than matchy-matchy elements.
To keep champagne cold and to add a pop of color I simply skewered cranberries, froze them overnight, and popped a skewer in each glass of bubbly before the guests arrived.
Mercury glass was the perfect way to add warmth to the table and counterbalance all of the masculine rustic pieces.
