This colorblock cape is a great affordable option for the classic vintage-inspired cape silhouette, priced right under $100.  With a front hook-and-eye closure, it’s also available in two other color variations. 

This style is simply stunning. There’s no denying that this trench cape coat by Burberry is a timeless investment piece (if you can stomach the price tag). Just remind yourself that you’ll have it for years and years to come; it’ll never go out of style. I especially love its short sleeves and classic camel coloring…it has the ability to elevate even the most simple winter outfits. 

I have all the heart eyes for this beautiful merino wool wrap by Rag & Bone. I don’t know if I can justify the price point just yet, but I know that it would be a piece I’d reach for all season long.  The muted color palette and stripes are great cold-weather neutrals, and the merino wool promises a cozy, warm fit.  

This easy grey poncho is another great buy under $100. I’d encourage this piece to anyone who’s on the fence for the poncho & cape trend…it’s a simple basic that goes with just about everything, while its asymmetrical hem and sharp black in-check detail adds interest. It would look fantastic with an all black get-up, don’t you think?

Asos for the win for a colorblock cape that looks a lot more expensive than it is (it’s only $61!). It feels like wool (it’s actually a poly-viscose blend), and has faux leather trim detailing. The oversized fit allows it to drape over the body to create the classic cape silhouette. I think this would make a great option for a festive outdoor event this fall! 

Gap gives us a nice, soft lightweight stripe poncho (that happens to be on sale!). It hits a bit lower than the rest of today’s picks, reaching the mid-thigh with the sides longer than the rest. 

I just picked up this beautiful woven poncho…I love its boho-inspired details and style.  It’s a cotton-blend, allowing some wears this fall before it gets too cold. I went ahead and ordered a size down (I have a hard time with sizing on Revolve and I’m crossing my fingers that it’ll be a good move).
