There’s nothing I love more than a great piece of furniture that is so versatile it can fit into numerous spaces and places within my home. Enter the oh-so chic World Market Mix & Match Desk which is all of that and more. And just to show you how versatile it really is I styled it both as a desk and bar, and perhaps an entryway table soon?.
When given the option to customize the desk to fit our home’s style, I’m sure it’s no surprise that I chose the white lacquer desktop with a chrome sawhorse base. It’s a classic look that provides the perfect clean slate to accessorize with those pops of color and pattern you’re used to seeing from me. The desk is what I consider to be one of those great pieces of furniture that will always allow you to put your own personal touch on. I chose the White Molded Evie Chairs, which are a welcome reprieve from my ghost chairs and plan to add a few organizational accents soon.
When transforming the mix and match desk into a bar I simply added a lacquer tray for everything you need to pop, fizz and clink, plus a few fun entertaining essentials such as my record player and a chess set. The Evie chairs flanked the bar and my favorite gold ottomans slide easily underneath.
I’m quite pleased with the result of both setups (though I’ll always lean towards the option with cocktails, let’s be honest!). So tell me, how will you style your incredibly versatile World Market Mix & Match Desk? Truly, MKR
