Behold The Classic Manhattan. Sitting perfectly atop an old, old, old cocktail book from my great grandmother, this libation is truly one for the ages, to be enjoyed for years to come. I’m here to tell you that bourbon-soaked cherries were practically made to be paired with the finest whiskey, and they are just as addictive when eaten alone as they are in a tasty cocktail (you’ve been forewarned).
When serving my classic Manhattan recipe, I typically use large round ice cubes, but of course if you are a purist and refuse to let your Manhattan be watered down, opt for whiskey rocks. Enjoy! Truly, MKR
