Having a Moment: Pink Shoes

The Best Pink Shoes to Lust After This Season
Filed Under > Having a Moment

The best pink shoes, Waiting On Martha

There’s no question about it; pinks are the new neutral.  From shoes, to bags, to full three piece suits, pink is the hottest color this year.  And I’m talking all tones of pink in all different textures.  From beautiful blush tones, soft salmon shades and pretty pastel pink velvets there’s literally a pink for everyone.  Even those that don’t even consider themselves a pink person!

Personally I’m a HUGE fan of this trend, and after noticing that I recently added no less than three new pairs of pink shoes to my arsenal I decided it was time to round up the best pink shoes in every every style.  I mean the stars even aligned with a pink full moon two nights ago!

Anyway, from “fancy” sneakers like these pink Adidas, to blush wedge sandals and dusty rose-colored espadrilles , there are more pink shoe options than ever to fancy your eyes on.  I recently ordered this gorgeous pair and plan on wearing them nonstop well through summer.  They are beyond comfortable and the crossover sandal style is incredibly versatile, and like I mentioned above, pink can be worn as a neutral.

Tell me, are you indulging in the pink trend this season?  Any pairs you have your heart set on?  Oh, and most importantly, don’t forget to take advantage of the MAJOR sale going on at Shopbop20% off your order up to $200 and 25% off your orders of $500 or more!  Is this real life?!  It’s going to be dangerous. Truly, MKR

Crispy Eggplant Stacks

Baked Crispy Eggplant StacksBaked Crispy Eggplant StacksBaked Crispy Eggplant Stacks
I’m a fan of anything and everything fried.  And I mean everything.  However my hips aren’t.  So if I can create an illusion of crispy goodness without the extra added bulge that comes along with it, count me in.  Therefore, I give you my crispy eggplant stacks.  The panko bread crumbs give me the crunch I so desire, but the baking part of it all helps to keep my girlish figure.  Plus, by using Toffutti dairy free sour cream instead of regular I don’t have to sacrifice on flavor.  By the way, if you haven’t discovered Toffutti I highly suggest you rush out and buy the sour cream and cream cheese.  No dairy, and very few calories in comparison, yet it tastes no different.  Anyway, happy Tuesday Loves and enjoy!  truly, MKR

  1. 2 Eggplants
  2. 2 cups of Panko Bread Crumbs
  3. 1 egg
  4. 1 large tomato
  5. 1 bunch of green onions
  6. 1 jalepeno (optional)
  7. Sour Cream (I use Toffutti dairy free sour cream)
  8. 1 teaspoon Cayenne
  9. 1/2 tablespoon Seasoning Salt
Instructions
  1. Pre heat oven to 350 degrees
  2. In a small bowl mix bread crumbs, seasoning salt, and cayenne. Pour on to a plate or flat surface. Crack egg into a bowl, mix, and set aside.
  3. Slice eggplant into 1" slices. Dredge each slice first in your egg then coat in breadcrumbs. Pressing each side and edges of the eggplant so they are evenly coated. Place on to lined baking sheet (I use Silpat mats). Continue until all slices are coated.
  4. Bake for 6-7 minutes on each side or until the outside turns a golden brown.
  5. While eggplant is baking chop up tomatoes and green onions and jalapeno.
  6. Mix jalapeno with sour cream to create a spicy sour cream. If you're not one for a little heat omit the jalepeno.
  7. Once eggplant is nicely browned remove from oven and begin to build your stack. You can create single stacks that can be ate like an appetizer or high stacks that need a knife and fork to enjoy.

Young Living Budgeting Tips for Essential Oils & More

Essential Oils on Waiting on Martha

There’s no arguing that the quality of Young Living Essential Oils goes unparalleled.  You know what they say; you get what you pay for.  And that rings true with these pure, therapeutic grade essential oils that are really the cream of the crop.

But with that quality may come a little stress and confusion about the best way to stock up on oils on a budget.  Through our experience, the best way to discover and enjoy essential oils is by signing up with the Essential Rewards loyalty program.  Below, we’ll teach you our best Young Living budgeting tips.

What is Essential Rewards?
Essential Rewards, or ER, is a loyalty program by Young Living that helps you earn commissions, get discounted shipping and more.  When you’re signed up for ER, you can earn back 10-20% in points each month to put towards future purchases when you hit 100 PV, which means product value.  This is also the only way to make commissions if you are interested in building a business through Young Living.

The beauty of Essential Rewards is that you can change your monthly order each and every month.  You can also change the ship date each time!  This makes your monthly delivery extremely customizable for you and your household.

How can I best benefit from Essential Rewards, without breaking the bank?!
The easiest way to do ER on a budget is to switch over and buy products you normally would from other stores like Target and Amazon.  This way, you’re not adding to your monthly household budget!  You’ll receive free points back on all of these Young Living purchases, which you can then use for more essential oils and nontoxic YL products.

Consider your grocery shopping list; think about the items you can now get through Young Living like vitamins, protein powder, probiotics, cleaning supplies, deodorant, face wash, moisturizer, etc.

Here are a few of our favorite things that we now get through YL instead of Target: Thieves Laundry Detergent, Thieves Dish Soap, Thieves Automatic Dishwasher Detergent, Thieves Toothpaste & Mouthwash, shampoo and conditioner, body soap and bar soap, face wash and moisturizer, kids’ soap and shampoo, wellness products like Energy Support and Ningxia Red, as well as animal care products for our furry friends!  Not to mention, Young Living even has healthy food products like Wolfberry Crisp Bars, Pure Protein Complete powder and more.

How do I sign up for Essential Rewards?
Visit your virtual office at youngliving.com/vo. and follow these steps:
1. Click on Essential Rewards
2. Add products (does not have to be a package, order anything you like each month)
3. Pick ship date (you can change this every single month)
4. Click save until it says “Congratulations you have completed your Essential Rewards order.”
5. You can cancel anytime!
