This Week I…

…became obsessed with this crazy easy DIY from Fabulous K.

…started deciding between which Rodarte sweatshirt I wanted.  Pretty sure it’s THIS one.

…celebrated Thanksgiving early with a little (or big) photo shoot.  You can see sneak peeks HERE and HERE.  The day was amazing and the team was beyond.  Huge hugs, thanks, and eternal gratitude to Serenbe for letting us take over their Inn and to (in no particular order) Rustic White, Blue Eyed Yonder, Gertie Maes, Anne Kathleen Cakes, Blue Bird Artistry, Imagine Video Productions, Buzzy Craftery, Bloomingdales, Boxwoods, Sweetwater, Ross Sveback, Richard (for the truck), Clare (my fab intern), my mom, and my husband.  I cannot explain how excited I am to share everything with you all soon!  P.S. I’m sure I forgot someone (or like 10 someones) from this list so I apologize in advance!

…am thinking about cutting my hair, or rather chopping it.  And if I do, this is whose hair I’ll be modeling my own new cut after.

…couldn’t have become more excited when J.Crew brought my absolute favorite pants back.  I’ve had the 2 pairs I own for about 3 years now and you better believe I bought them in ever color.  Seriously, they are perfection!

…decided I needed to make THESE.

…had one of the craziest weeks ever.  From meetings in Wisconsin, delayed flights, and a 12 hour photo shoot at Serenbe, the weekend literally couldn’t get here fast enough.  Unfortunately because of the craze the blog suffered a tad.  I wish I was one of those bloggers that had posts scheduled weeks in advance (and hopefully someday I will be), but for now I’m not.  However, one of the best things about leading a totally crazy life the way I do is I really do work hard play hard.  So Friday was one of the most peaceful and amazing days I’ve had in awhile.  I spent time with my mother, had a fatty breakfast, worked out in the sun, and then enjoyed the rest of the day at the lake.  I believe when you start living your passion you truly do enjoy life more.  I cannot tell you how many times I told my husband on Friday that I was just so happy.  I had accomplished some major things that week, and that day, that Friday, I was relaxing and basking in the thought of what was to come and how far I’ve come so far.  This is a much longer discussion for another day (a discussion that will happen), but truly life is better lived by living your passion.  Happy Sunday Loves, xo.
