…rang in the New Year with a brand new look for the blog and boutique thanks to Gadabout Creative.

…started 2013 off right by being featured in Jezebel Magazine and The Atlantan Best of the City issue.  (I may or may not have jumped up and down, danced with joy, and almost passed out at seeing my face in print for the first time.  So humbled, so thankful).

…prepped my Whitney English Day Designer for what will hopefully be a very big year!

…picked my word for 2013 with a little help from Amber Housley and Ali Edwards.

…made it a double with Lilly Pulitzer.

 …bought this Print for my office from The Aestate.  Big thanks to Taylor Sterling for posting it on Instagram.
…read a great, great, great article by Caroline Myss in O Magazine about getting to the heart of who you really are.
…added a little something for the boys to the boutique.

…longed to be hitting the slopes.

…watched THIS and THIS by Casey Neistat which didn’t help my ache for the mountains, but did make me want to live every day like it’s my last, buy a Nike Fuel band and kick some major ass.

Let’s Cocktail With Lilly Pulitzer Ticket Winners

I’m never one to turn down a good party, especially when it’s thrown by Lilly Pulitzer!  Lucky for me, through the month of June Lilly will be hosting Cocktails In the Garden at The Atlanta Botanical Gardens.  Lucky for you, Lilly asked me to invite some friends!

This Thursday, June 21st and Thursday, June 28th you’re invited to come and get your cocktail on with myself and Lilly Pulitzer at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens .  The event runs from 6:00 pm-10:00 pm and of course the dress code is “Lilly or Louder” where the first 50 guests dressed in Lilly will receive a special gift bag!   June’s theme of “Hydrangeas & Honeybees,” will make for a beautiful cocktail party that includes a DJ, chef demos in their Edible Garden, cultural performances and includes a specialty cocktail with dinner available at the MetroFresh cafe.

Normally tickets are $18.95 per person but we’re giving away 2 tickets to 2 of our lovely readers!  All you have to do is browse Lilly’s summer frocks and let us know which one catches your eye.  Though impossible to choose just one, here is my choice which I’ll be sporting this Thursday.  And because we know how much you love a contest you can receive extra entries by sharing on Facebook or Tweeting on Twitter, (please leave a separate comment for each).  The contest runs through tomorrow at 12:00 pm EST so hurry and spread the word!
