One of my favorite things about warm summer nights is the feeling when you realize there is nowhere else you’d rather be. I know that sounds pretty vague, but I feel that on the nights I find myself sitting around a table with a handful of friends or family and a great meal. Whether I’m sitting around picking at the appetizers and catching up, or leaning my chair back and pouring another glass of wine after finishing the meal, those moments are some of the best parts of summer I cherish the most.

I completely agree with you about those relaxing summer nights. We have a pretty big family, but when everyone comes together during the summer, it’s so wonderful.

Aw yes! My extended family is big as well, so when we gather around the table on my aunt’s deck for a meal al fresco, it truly is my happy place. xo
