{Obsessed} Hurom Slow Juicer

Recently I took the plunge and purchased a juicer, the Hurom Slow Juicer to be exact.  And I am OBSESSED.  I know I use this word a lot so it’s probably lost it’s meaning on some of you, but this is obsession, pure obsession.

So here’s the deal, I have a Vitamix which I adore, but I wanted a juicer and one that could make wheat grass shots.  Side note…for those of you who haven’t tried wheat grass in my opinion it’s life changing.  True it tastes horrible, like grass clippings, but the health benefits make the I-just-licked-the-lawn taste worth it.  Anyway, most juicers don’t do wheat grass which is how I found the Hurom Slow Juicer.   Recently named the Best New Kitchen Appliance the Hurom Slow Juicer uses a no blade,  low-speed system which juices everything from fruit and vegetables to nuts and soybeans.  The “slow” part of it is supposed to process the food to release deep-seated nutrients and enzymes, and break up more of the phytonutrients for a richer-colored juice that retains more vitamins and minerals.  Blah, blah, blah it’s amazing.  I’m actually sucking down a watermelon, cucumber, wheat grass, kale, spinach, carrot, strawberry, blueberry, and ginger juice as we speak.

Next up I’m going to make some homemade Bloody Mary mix and preserve it before tomatoes go out of season…I mean nutrient rich tomatoes mixed with vodka sounds like a fall/football season MUST to me.  And P.S. it’s on major sale right now HERE!   xoxo

  • $430 at Bloomingdale’s is not what I would consider a major sale. Actually, it’s at the upper range of what these juicer’s go for. There are many sites selling in the mid $300’s and you can get one shipped direct from S. Korea for $310 on eBay.

  • Wow I love making delicious juices every morning to start the day. The new color design of the New Hu100 Hurom juicer on your blog is so appealing to me.

Hi Jay, it was on sale for $359, the sale must have been over when you clicked on it. I still say it’s worth every penny! xoxo
