Melissa Miles Rufty for Domaine Home

There are moments when I dream of decorating my next home with clean lines, calming whites and only pure minimalistic accents.  And then the moment passes.  I like color.  Bold, bright, in your face, preferably lacquered or wallpapered on color.  And it doesn’t get more colorful than Melissa Miles Rufty’s design for, Sally and Richard Edrington’s NOLA row home.  Recently shared on one of my daily reads, Domaine Home, Melissa speaks to my heart.  I especially cannot get over the turquoise lacquer walls and her ability to mix prints seamlessly.  I can honestly say, I don’t believe I’d change a thing.  So when decorating your home, do you go more bold or subtle?  I’d love to hear in the comments below.  Happy Thursday Loves!  truly, MKR.
