In decorating my first home I’ve learned a lot of things, the biggest being that I’m just beginning to scratch the surface on what my design aesthetic is. A big part of that journey has been choosing what to hang on my walls. And quite frankly adding art to your home can be a tad daunting. Mainly because I don’t think there’s no greater of a personal statement about who a person is creatively than what they choose to hang on their walls. And honestly people are VERY opinionated when it comes to art.
Here’s my two cents…don’t worry about what you know or don’t know about art, just buy what you love, what makes you feel. Your home should be filled with what you actually love, not what you’re “supposed” to love (this mantra holds true for just about anything…what you choose to wear, who you choose to marry, etc). So with that being said what are you loving lately? xoxo
